Check in was easy. Cleaning stations are around to ease your Covid concerns. Room was sufficient but nothing really to boast about.
Bathroom hand towel holder is placed very low. Pool situation is disappointing to say the least. The Crown complex in general though is amazing, and to be part of that, is the upside.

My husband and I were staying 2 nights but checked out a day early. We wanted a relaxing day by the pool but could only see 2 lounge seats, people were sitting on the half wall and on the ground and the pool is very small.
One, if not the, worst hotel pools we have ever saw and wished we had paid extra to stay at the Metropol. Crown Metropol is our top pick for a high end family resort style holiday without having to leave the city.
With waterslides, big outdoor pool, indoor pool and kids club, this is your go to for a quick family staycation all year round. Rain or shine, winter or summer kids won't be able to resist the waterslides and mini water playground complete with tipping water and water cannons.
These are open all year round you may just have to find a staff member to open the slides if it's quiet. There is a mini spa pool alongside this area so they can warm up while sliding and playing during winter these photos were taken mid winter and our little man had a ball in the pool and on the waterslides - we were lucky to score a warm sunny winters day.
There is plenty of relaxing to be done around the pool with cabanas, day beds and lots of sun lounges available.
